When authorities discovered Bryce Laspisa’s car at the bottom of a ravine near Castaic Lake, it immediately raised more questions than answers.

The crash scene suggested that the vehicle had gone over the edge, but there were no clear signs of what happened after that. Inside the car, investigators found his phone, wallet, and other personal belongings still in place, making it even more unusual that he was nowhere nearby.

Search teams quickly organized a large-scale effort to locate him. Helicopters scanned the area from above, while ground crews and volunteers searched the rugged terrain surrounding the lake. Despite these efforts, no trace of Bryce was ever found.
