Christine was just two years old. She was traveling with her parents, Peter and Sue Hanson, aboard United Airlines Flight 175. The family was on their way to California for a long-awaited vacation, which included a planned visit to Disneyland.
Shortly after takeoff, the aircraft was hijacked as part of the coordinated attacks. At 9:03 a.m., Flight 175 was flown into the South Tower of the World Trade Center in New York City.
All passengers and crew on board lost their lives, along with many others inside the building.
