Influencer Mary Magdalene Dies After Fall in Thailand, Investigation Ongoing

Denise Ivonne Jarvis Gongora, a 33-year-old Mexican-Canadian influencer known online as Mary Magdalene, died on December 9 after falling from the ninth floor of a high-rise apartment building in Patong, Phuket Island, Thailand.

Her body was discovered in the building’s parking area by apartment staff. Authorities have confirmed that an investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding her death.

Gongora had built a large social media presence, with more than 400,000 followers across multiple platforms. She shared a mix of lifestyle content, artistic work, and personal posts.

She was also widely recognized for her extensive cosmetic procedures, which included both facial and body enhancements, as well as tattoos covering much of her face and body.

On December 8, the day before her death, Gongora posted on her social media accounts. The post included images from a film scene along with a childhood photograph.

Following her passing, family members and loved ones shared tributes expressing their grief. Many highlighted her creativity, sense of humor, and the impact she had on those around her.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident as they work to establish the full circumstances behind her fall.
