A man has been sentenced to prison after a series of disturbing incidents targeting women in public places.
William Kidd, 27, was sentenced to four years in jail after admitting to multiple offenses that took place in supermarkets and retail stores across England between May and September 2025.
According to authorities, Kidd followed unsuspecting women through store aisles before using a bottle to spray a liquid onto their hair and clothing without their knowledge.
CCTV footage captured several of the incidents, which helped investigators identify and track him.
Forensic testing later confirmed that the substance used in the attacks was his bodily fluid.
During the investigation, Kidd reportedly admitted that he carried out the acts for personal gratification.
The case has drawn attention to safety concerns in public spaces and the impact such behavior has on victims.
